The bougaribou is similar in construction to the djembe but with a different shape and a natural cow hide skin, this traditional drum from the Jola people of Senegal often has a softer deeper, and very loud tone. Beautifully hand carved from a single piece of sustainable hardwood, decorated with traditional tribal patterns and spirit elder faces.
